Sunshine Coast Lightning Training Partner Charlie Bell has accepted a contract with the Stars for the 2025 ANZ Premiership Season.
The 197cm goal shooter signed with Lightning on a replacement player contract for the 2023 Suncorp Super Netball season after making her way through the Netball Queensland pathways, and returned to the Club in 2024 as a Training Partner.
Lightning Head Coach Belinda Reynolds said she was excited for Charlie and praised her development this past season.
“Charlie has gone from strength to strength over the past year and it’s been amazing to watch her grow as a player and a leader,” she said.
“I am thrilled she’s been given the opportunity to play across the ditch on a full-time contract and look forward to see her continue to develop next season in the ANZ Premiership.”
Bell will travel to New Zealand in March 2025 to join the team for their 2025 pre-season preparations.
