Two coaching powerhouses will come together on the Sunshine Coast in May as part of Sunshine Coast Lightning’s Executive Club event.
One of the best coaches in Australian sport, Melbourne Storm’s Craig Bellamy, will join Lightning’s newest Head Coach, Belinda Reynolds for a long lunch and Q&A, providing invaluable insights into the highs and lows of sport and the ultimate networking opportunity for clients and colleagues.
Reynolds said the Coaches Lunch would be a rare opportunity for the Storm Group’s two head coaches to be together at the one location.
“I’m looking forward to sitting out down with Craig and unpacking what it takes to be involved in elite sport, as well as the differences and similarities between our codes,” Reynolds said.
“The Lightning Executive Club is a premium and unique experience to be part of, and this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with our local business leaders and executives.”
Now in his 21st season as Storm coach, Bellamy will share some of the coaching theories he uses day-to-day which can be translated across to different aspects of business and life in general.
“Sunshine Coast is a home away from home for Storm and every time we visit you can see how much positive change is happening across the region,” Bellamy said.
“It will be great to catch up with Belinda and hear how she’s handling her first season at Lightning. There’s always something new to learn when you meet elite coaches in any sport.”
