Mahalia Cassidy and Courtney Bruce have been ruled out of this weekend’s Round 5 match against GIANTS Netball and will not travel with the team to Sydney.
Mahalia is managing an ankle injury sustained in Lightning’s Round 4 match against the Mavericks, while Courtney manages a calf injury.
Maddie Hinchliffe remains in the squad after being elevated last week in place of Ava Black, and will be joined by Annie Miller and Shannon Eagland to complete the 10.
“While it’s unfortunate to have players out this weekend, I am confident in our training partners and their ability to get the job done,” Head Coach Belinda Reynolds said.
“They have all been training incredibly hard and I am looking forward to seeing them in the game day squad, especially Shannon who has recently returned to the court since her ACL injury last season.”
