KEN MILLS TOYOTA INCREASES COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR GRASSROOTS NETBALL

Sunshine Coast Lightning is proud to announce local Sunshine Coast business and proud community contributor, Ken Mills Toyota as the Club’s principal partner for 2024.

While the local car dealership was already an official partner of Lightning, this elevated partnership will further cement Ken Mills Toyota’s commitment to both grassroots netball and the sport at the elite level.

Operating on the Sunshine Coast for 22 years, Ken Mills Toyota is passionate about the region and supporting the local community.

Storm Group CEO Justin Rodski said the partnership with Ken Mills Toyota was an important one for the Club and the local community.

“As a local business who already plays such a large part in the Sunshine Coast community, we are thrilled to have Ken Mills Toyota on board as a Principal Partner for the 2024 season,” he said.

“The work they do in the region to support young girls and boys playing netball is paramount to the health and wellbeing of young people across the Sunshine Coast.

“I’d like to personally thank Brett Mills for his continued support for Lightning. Brett has been one of the biggest supporters of our Club and players for a long time, and we can’t thank him enough for his passion for our Club and the Sunshine Coast community.

“It’s fantastic to work alongside an organisation whose values are so closely aligned with our own, and I’m looking forward to see what we can achieve together this year.”

Ken Mills Toyota Dealer Principal, Brett Mills said he was proud to partner with an organisation that directly benefits the Sunshine Coast community.

“I am filled with pride each time I see our family’s brand on the dresses worn by these elite athletes,” he said.

“Lightning creates a ripple effect of benefits that flow through to the Coast community. Most importantly the players are great role models and inspire so many young people to play netball with their friends all over the Sunshine Coast. Go Lighting!”

To celebrate the partnership, Lightning players Liz Watson, Courtney Bruce and Ashleigh Ervin were joined by members of the community at Ken Mills Toyota Maroochydore this morning for a meet and greet.
