A dynamic Goal Shooter with the ability to play Goal Attack, Cara Koenen is a reliable target for the Lightning attack-line. Standing at 190cm, the shooter is mobile and athletic in the goal circle. Koenen has the ability to lose her defenders on the baseline with perfect timing and game-smarts. In 2019, Koenen was announced a part of the Australian Development Squad and made her Diamonds debut during the 2021 Constellation Cup. She is now regularly named in the national side’s starting line-up and recently secured a gold medal at the Netball World Cup 2023.
