Sunshine Coast Lightning is pleased to announce that Sunday’s Round 14 Suncorp Super Netball clash against the Queensland Firebirds has sold out at UniSC Arena.
Lightning will return home this weekend, after spending two weekends on the road where in Perth they played in front of the biggest crowd the Club had seen at that point in the season (10,700-strong) followed by a sell-out crowd at Adelaide Entertainment Centre (9,000).
It’s another sell-out for the club following several other sell-outs and strong crowds across the entire season.
Lightning CEO Danielle Smith expressed her excitement for the final round of the season.
“The team has played some fantastic netball this season and are coming off the back of a thrilling win against one of the competition’s top teams,” she said.
“It’s exciting we are now completely sold-out for the Queensland Cup against our state rivals, the Firebirds. It’s sure to be an amazing atmosphere as it always is thanks to our passionate and vocal fans on the Sunshine Coast.”
