Courtney Bruce has been ruled out of Sunshine Coast Lightning’s Round 13 match against the NSW Swifts after suffering a lower leg injury at Captain’s Run on Friday.
The Club will continue to monitor Bruce’s recovery in consultation with the medical team when the team arrives back on the Sunshine Coast.
Sunshine Coast Lightning SN Reserves player, Elena Damianopoulos, has been signed as a temporary replacement player for Round 13. Damianopoulos, who currently plays for Moreton Bay Pulse in the Queensland HART Premier Netball League, achieved 17 intercepts and 32 deflections from seven SN Reserves matches this season.
