Sunshine Coast Lightning is excited to announce local radio station, 91.1 Hot FM as the official radio partner for the 2025 Suncorp Super Netball season.
The renewed partnership aligns two of the Sunshine Coast’s leading media and sports organisations with a shared commitment to promoting women’s sport and fostering a strong sense of community pride.
This collaboration aligns 91.1 Hot FM’s local presence with Lightning’s vision to strengthening the Club’s connection with the community while delivering an unforgettable experience for fans.
From January 2025, sport fans on the Coast will be able to enjoy netball segments across 91.1 Hot FM and 96.1 Zinc FM, with 91.1 Hot FM also activating at Lightning home games during the 2025 season, including a live outdoor broadcast and in-stadium activations.
The partnership will also facilitate a host of grassroots and community activations which will be central to the Club’s engagement with the Sunshine Coast community.
Alongside partnerships with the Dolphins NRL team, this partnership with Lightning brings together two local powerhouses to deliver excitement, energy and community engagement for Lightning fans in the Sunshine Coast region.
91.1 Hot FM, known for its energetic local programming and deep roots in the community, will provide exclusive coverage, behind-the-scenes access and in-depth player interviews throughout the Lightning’s upcoming season.
