Friday marks the beginning of Suncorp Team Girls Cup with Sunshine Coast Lightning set to take part in four back to back matches in Melbourne across the weekend.
The tournament provides all eight teams the opportunity to test their wares against quality competition as preparations continue towards a Saturday 26 March 2022 Season start date.
Lightning will compete against a quality pool of NSW Swifts, QLD Firebirds and Melbourne Vixens before a heated finals hitout on Sunday afternoon.
Australian-based fans will be able to watch all games live and free – but a few steps need to take place before tuning in.
All Suncorp Team Girls Cup games in 2022 will be available to stream via Kayo Freebies as part of the sport’s new broadcast deal!
