Excitement is building towards Season 2022, with so much potential to uncover.
My teammates – new and existing – are already back in the gym and out on court working hard at pre-season training.
Now we need you, our loyal fans, to commit and join us on this next chapter as we welcome you with open arms back to USC Stadium.
Our Members often say that they need us – but truthfully it is the other way around – we can’t do it without them. We can’t do it without you.
The Lightning family is one of the most important things for us and it goes so much further than the players, coaches, staff and our loved ones. It is the Members and community support around the Club that really gives the ‘Lightning family’ so much meaning.
If you look at the bigger picture, our success over the years is because we have such a great community backing from our Members.
So many of you have stood by us since the very beginning. Even when times were tough and we couldn’t go out into the community, couldn’t have Members in the stands, couldn’t interact in person, you still supported us.
That is a true reflection of loyalty and confirms how great our Members really are.
We felt that love and support every time we took to the court and it fuels the desire to push harder and get better.
Now we look to Season 2022, with a determination to play a great brand of netball and a hope for more normalcy throughout the Suncorp Super Netball season.
Each time we step out on court we want to put in a good performance, because we know you all go above and beyond to support us.
Every opportunity we have to reach out and interact, we will – not because we have to, but because we want to. It’s something the group has dearly missed in a Covid-disrupted world.
We have something very special at Lightning. We’re ready to put in the hard work and hours to make you proud.
