The Unitywater Lightning Cup is a Sunshine Coast Region primary school netball competition, held on Friday 18 August at Sunshine Coast Netball Association (108 Fishermans Road, Maroochydore QLD 4558). 

The school-aged competition aims to provide an opportunity for primary school students in years five and six in the Sunshine Coast region to play netball in a fun and inclusive environment.

The competitive carnival includes three divisions: Championship, Development and Boys, as well as a multi-class ‘come-and-try’ opportunity for students with a mental or physical disability to participate.

A Lightning Strike Zone will be available on the day, including merchandise, food trucks and free activities, as well as special appearances throughout the day by Lightning athletes.

Registrations are open for our multi-class clinics at the 2023 Unitywater Lightning Cup!

These clinics are for individuals up to 18 years of age with intellectual and physical disabilities and are completely free of charge.
