Sunshine Coast Lightning has ruled Cara Koenen out against the Melbourne Vixens due to a foot injury.
“We’ve been managing this with Cara throughout the season and made the decision to rest her this weekend in the best interests of her long-term health”, said Belinda Reynolds, Head Coach.
The Club will continue to monitor Cara’s recovery in consultation with the medical team.
Emma Barrie has been signed as a temporary replacement player for Round 11. Barrie currently plays for Moreton Bay Pulse and recently represented Scotland in the Pan Pacific Series.
