UNITYWATER LIGHTNING CUP
The Unitywater Lightning Cup is a Sunshine Coast Region primary school netball competition, held at Sunshine Coast Netball Association (108 Fishermans Road, Maroochydore QLD 4558).
The school-aged competition aims to provide an opportunity for primary school students in years five and six in the Sunshine Coast region to play netball in a fun and inclusive environment.
The competitive carnival includes three divisions: Championship, Development and Boys, as well as a multi-class ‘come-and-try’ opportunity for students with different physical, cognitive or intellectual abilities.
The Lightning Strike Zone is available on the day, including merchandise, food trucks and free activities, as well as special appearances throughout the day by Lightning athletes.
Registrations for 2025 have not yet opened.

SESSION
These sessions are for students with different physical, cognitive or intellectual abilities who’d like to get involved on the day.

LIGHTNING CUP
DIVISION
The Lightning Cup is the top-level championship division and is for the strong netballers who love a good competition.

THUNDER CUP
DIVISION
The Thunder Cup is for those who love to play netball, but are still working on improving their skills.

STORM CUP
DIVISION
The Storm Cup is for all the boys who are looking for the opportunity to play in a competitive netball tournament.
