HOW MUCH WILL TICKETS COST?

Ticket prices will remain as per 2017:

Public Category 1 Category 2
Adult $45.00 $35.00
Concession $33.00 $25.00
Junior $27.00 $20.00
Family $117.00 $90.00

WHEN CAN I BUY TICKETS?

Similar to 2017, tickets will go on sale in two separate blocks:

  1. Rounds 3, 5 and 6
  2. Rounds 8, 9, 11 and 13

 

More details will be available in early 2018 regarding specific timings.

HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I PURCHASE WITH A FAMILY MEMBERSHIP?

Lightning’s Supporter Plus and Gold Family Memberships can consist of two adults and two juniors or one adult and three juniors. Whichever option you choose, all four Members are entitled to a 25% discount on match tickets with an exclusive pre-sale period. Each Member is entitled to purchase one discounted ticket per match. (Four tickets per family Membership).

HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I BUY IN ONE TRANSACTION?

Members pre-sale: One ticket per Member, per match – up to 10 Members per transaction. Public on sale, up to six tickets per transaction. 

HOW DO I PURCHASE ACCESSIBLE SEATING?

Please call us on 1300LIGHTNING if you have Wheelchair, Companion Card or Special Needs booking requirements.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?

Tickets will be supplied via e-ticket and can be printed at home.

WILL THERE BE LAST MINUTE TICKETS AVAILABLE?

As the event date approaches, the venue may release tickets that were previously held.

WHY ARE LAST MINUTE TICKETS RELEASED?

The team or league may no longer need the tickets that were contractually held when the event originally went on sale. At times, tickets may become available closer to the event for public on sale.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR A CONCESSION TICKET?

To qualify for a concession ticket, customers must hold one of the following forms of identification; Pension card (aged, single parent or disability), Student card (full-time only) or Veterans Affairs concession card. Health care cards and Seniors cards do not qualify.

ARE THERE CORPORATE HOSPITALITY OPTIONS AVAILABLE?

Yes. Sunshine Coast Lightning will have a corporate function at each SSN home game at USC Stadium in “Lightning Laneway”.

HOW CAN I UPDATE MY PERSONAL CONTACT DETAILS?

To ensure you receive all Sunshine Coast Lightning communication, please contact our Membership team on 1300LIGHTNING if you need to update your details. Alternatively, you can visit the Sunshine Coast Lightning Member portal and follow the prompts to update your personal details.

HOW DO I GET IN CONTACT WITH THE LIGHTNING TICKETING & MEMBERSHIP TEAM?

WHY DON’T ALL MEMBERSHIPS INCLUDE TICKETS?

We are striving to make our home matches accessible to everyone. Lightning’s boutique Sports Stadium at the University of the Sunshine Coast is home to a little more than 2,000 seats and with such strong community interest in the team, we want to ensure as many fans as possible have the chance to attend games. Therefore, we have decided that our unique Membership packages will not all include match tickets. Instead, Members can choose exactly which games to attend and purchase tickets accordingly. The new Platinum Membership has been updated for season 2018 to now include match tickets, with a limited number available.

DOES BEING A MEMBER GUARANTEE ACCESS TO TICKETS AS PART OF THE PRIORITY WINDOW?

A limited number of tickets for purchase will be released to Gold and Supporter Plus Members exclusively first. This will be on a first in, first served basis. Membership will not guarantee tickets, so we recommend getting in quickly! We will email Members with more information before tickets go on sale.

DOES THE SUPPORTER MEMBERSHIP INCLUDE ACCESS TO THE PRIORITY WINDOW THIS YEAR?

The Supporter Membership still has access to a 25% discount on the price of a ticket however it does not provide access to the Member priority window to purchase tickets.

HOW DOES THE MEMBER PRE-SALE WORK?

Gold and Supporter Plus Members will be notified via email or SMS about an exclusive pre-sale period where a limited amount of tickets will be available for purchase. During this pre-sale period, Members can purchase one ticket, per game, per member.

Supporter Members will be available to purchase tickets when they go on sale to the General Public.

HOW DOES THE ASSOCIATION PRE-SALE WORK?

Local Associations will also have access to a limited number of tickets in a separate pre-sale period. To find out more, please contact your local Association.

HOW DO MEMBERS ORGANISE SEATS TOGETHER?

During the Members’ only pre-sale period, Gold and Supporter Plus Members can purchase tickets using their unique barcode. This number is displayed on your Member card and will unlock the ability to purchase tickets during the pre-sale window. For example, if two families wish to sit together, one person can manage the purchase via the online shopping cart, adding each Member barcode, with a limit of 10 tickets per transaction. Make sure you have your barcode numbers ready! If you have not received your Membership card please contact us on 1300LIGHTNING.
