TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR THE “2018 Sunshine Coast Lightning Membership Competition”

PROMOTION

  1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these conditions. Successfully submitting an eligible entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. The “Promoter” is Sunshine Coast Lightning (ABN 77 040 371 974) of University of the Sunshine Coast, Locked Bag 4, MAROOCHYDORE DC QLD  4558, AUSTRALIA (“Sunshine Coast Lightning”)

 

PROMOTION 2018

  1. The Promotion commences at 6pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST“) on Monday 19th March and will continue until 6pm AEST on Monday 23rd March 2018 (“Promotion Period“).

 

ELIGIBILITY 

  1. Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 8 years or older on Monday 19th March 2018 (“Eligible Entrants“).

 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  1. The Promotion involves committed 2018 Sunshine Coast Lightning Members and fans who sign up to become a member between 13th March and 23rd March

2018.

  1. Entry provides the customer one (1) entry into the prize draw.

 

PRIZES

  1. The prize is provided by Sunshine Coast Lightning.
  2. The following prizes (“Prizes”) are provided by the Promoter and each individual Prize will be drawn at 4:30pm AEDT in each day of the Promotion Period 19th March to 23rd March 2018;
  • Day 1: 2018 Team Singed ball valued at $200
  • Day 2: Samsung Product Valued valued at $900
  • Day 3: Deliver the Match ball at a Lightning Game value N/A
  • Day 4: Membership Ambassador takes you out for a coffee for 1 Hour value N/A
  • Day 5: Invitation to an exclusive Training for you and your friend value N/A
  1. There will be one winner draw each day 1 – 5
  2. Dates will be provided by the club to the successful ‘Winner’ of each day.
  3. The prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash
  4. The promoted reserves the right to change any of the prizes for any reason whatsoever.

 

NOTIFICATION

  1. Each randomly selected (‘Winner’) will be contacted after the daily draw by the promoter via telephone and email.
  2. If the Winner is physically unable to claim their Prize, they may nominate a proxy (“Nominated Replacement”).
  3. A Nominated Replacement must be deemed an Eligible Entrant with contact details provided to fulfil the requirements to claim any Prize.
  4. The Winner is responsible for all expenses in relation to claim a Prize, including travel to USC Stadium.
  5. Any Winner consents to their name being published on the Sunshine Coast Lightning website and social media channels.
  6. The Winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the competition, including but not limited to being interviewed, photographed and broadcast. The Winner (and their guests) agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media and the Winners (and their companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
  7. The Promoter will hold the copyright to any photographs, video footage or written comment taken for publicity purposes and can use these items in any promotional material unconditionally.

 

GENERAL

  1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or indirect loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Promotion.
  2. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Promotion should be directed to the Promoter.
  3. The Promoter shall not be liable for any prize that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way before, or after, it reaches the winner.
  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of a prize.
  5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. The Promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.
  6. If, for any reason, the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, subject to State and Territory regulations.
  7. Any entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win and it is within the Promoter’s discretion to not display, or remove entries, from social media and the website.
  8. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions of entry. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

PRIVACY

  1. By entering the Promotion, the entrant understands and agrees that the Promoter may use and disclose the information provided by the customer on the terms and for the purposes (including marketing) of conducting this Promotion and for other purposes of collection as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available at http://sunshinecoastlightning.com.au/privacy-policy/ The entrant agrees that the Promoter can continue to contact them even after this Promotion ends. If the customer would like to access or correct the personal information that the Promoter holds about the customer, or if the customer does not wish the information to be disclosed, the entrant should advise the Privacy Officer of the Promoter by email to hello@sunshinecoastlightning.com.au  or by phoning 1300LIGHTNING.
