Hailing from Uganda, Peace Proscovia made a name for herself when competing for Loughborough Lightning in the Vitality Netball Superleague in England between 2015 and 2018. Her stand-out performance at the 2018 Commonwealth Games attracted attention on the world stage and piqued the interest of Lightning Head Coach Noeline Taurua.
Proscovia scored the most goals of any shooter in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons of the Vitality Netball Superleague, and her fierce determination to succeed sees her shoot more than 700 goals each day.
Having captained the Ugandan national team to an undefeated 2017 season that culminated in winning the Africa Championship, the sought-after shooter brings high-percentage shooting, significant elevation and leadership qualities to the court.
Proscovia is actively involved in advocating for the rights of girls and was a panellist at the 2nd Commonwealth Debate on Sport and Sustainable Development held in London. She was also named as an ambassador for the 2019 Netball World Cup.
