Lawrie turned heads in the 2019 Queensland Sapphire Series finals campaign at Goal Attack but is also proficient as Goal Shooter. The 19-year-old is known for her ability to shoot from anywhere in the circle, as well as her netball smarts and ability to read the play. Lawrie was elevated to Sunshine Coast Lightning Training Partner ahead of the 2020 Season will start her development in our high performance  environment. She has also previously competed for the 2019 Northern Territory 19 & Under representative side and was also named in the 2020 Queensland Under 19 & U team.
