Consistently referred to as one of the smartest players in the game, Steph Fretwell is the ultimate play-maker. One of Fretwell’s trademarks is her ability to shoot with accuracy from long range, and can do damage with the Goal Attack or Goal Shooter bib. The 31-year-old can also make an impact at Wing Attack.
After making her debut for the Australian Diamonds in 2016, the former Vice Captain announced her retirement from international netball in 2023 after the Netball World Cup. Fretwell finished her decorated international career with a win in every major tournament, including the Netball World Cup, Netball Quad Series, Constellation Cup and England Series.
