Limited tickets are still available and can be purchased here. Ticketing will have a marquee external to the Strike Zone for any ticket collections.
Free public parking is available in the Claymore Road carpark or throughout the rest of the University Campus. Carparks 12A, 12B & 12C are closed to public parking, noting accessible parking is available in the Chancellor College carpark. The Chancellor College carpark is available for Nissan cars (first 15 onsite) and this is where the taxi and drop off zone is located. The YOUI carpark located off Smart Drive is also available and free to park in. Please follow the directional signage along Sippy Downs Drive to access this carpark.
Entry to the Stadium will be via the Strike Zone, which will open at 1.30pm. Please note upon entry security will be undertaking bag checks on any bag bigger than an A4 size prior to your ticket being scanned – Members and fans can then enjoy the Zone’s activities (weather dependent)! To see what you can and can’t bring into USC Stadium please click here. Please read carefully as items such as drink bottles over 350ml are not allowed in unless empty or sealed.
Check out Refocus for an apple slinky, play some traditional Indigenous games and take a look at the Ancient chalk drawing throughout the zone. Make sure you head to Lightning Laneway to check out all the Lightning player stats and get a photo taken in USC’s halo photobooth . You can test your jumping skills against Lightning athletes with the vertical jump test, have your face painted, enjoy a bite to eat and finish with a dance off against Lucy Lightning! Activation’s include; Hot 91.1 • Sunshine Coast Council • USC • Refocus • Springfree Trampoline
FOOD & BEVERAGES:
A variety of hot and cold food will be available for purchase at the venue, including The Real Food Lady, Potato Slinky, Calamari Canteen, Paco’s Tacos, Good Food Fellas, Dar Nasone Italian Street Food, Donut Kitchen, Deadly Espresso, Game Enough and USC Cafe. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (including bottled water) are also available for purchase from the public bar in the Strike Zone (18+ photo identification must be shown to purchase alcoholic beverages).
Fans who want to look the part are in luck! GAME Clothing, our official merchandise partner, will be on location with the latest GAME goodies so you can deck yourself out in some fantastic gear. Show your true colours and support Lightning. If something is worth doing, it is worth doing looking good, and GAME Clothing has you covered! Keep an eye out for the GAME stand in the Strike Zone.
There are four entry points – the Northern Gate (closest to the pool end), the Southern Gate and two Eastern Gate entries. Your ticket will say North, South or East with each stand then broken down into aisles which are marked in stadium. To see what you can and can’t bring into the stadium please click here. While the action on-court will be red-hot, the stadium itself can be quite cool. The air conditioning system works perfectly, so if you feel the cold, we suggest you bring something warm to wear. If you’re bringing a pram, please ensure to leave it in the pram storage area located at the southern entrance – prams cannot be left in the aisle ways.
Lightning athletes will be available for a meet and greet 20 minutes after the conclusion of the game. This will occur in Lightning Laneway for 15 minutes only. Signings are limited to one item per person and minimal photos. This is to ensure the players have their correct recovery time and fairness that everyone gets a chance to get a signature. We appreciate your assistance in ensuring we can get the balance right for everyone!
Our round 8 match will be broadcast live on channel 9. All SSN matches will also be available live via subscription to the Netball Live app. This app also offers behind-the-scenes content and match highlights.
