Our Lightning volunteers will be available on the day if you have any queries or concerns, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to them.
WHERE TO PARK
Parking for Lightning games at UniSC Arena is completely free. We recommend parking at the carpark on Claymore Road or at UniSC Carpark 5.
Both carparks are a short stroll away from UniSC Arena.
Parking is prohibited at the Service Centre and Youi.
Accessible parking
Accessible parking is available at UniSC Arena and is marked on the map below. If you have an accessibility permit you are automatically granted access to the accessible carpark – please advise the carpark security on entry.
If you do not have an accessibility permit but you still require accessible parking, you will need to be issued a parking pass. Please email hello@sunshinecoastlightning.com.au with your details and we will provide you with a pass.

LIGHTNING SONG
If you’re a fan of the Vengaboys or find ‘We Like to Party’ gets stuck in your head on a loop, you’re in luck. During the pre-season, the Lightning athletes attended their pre-season camp at Training Partner Ava Black’s family home near Toowoomba. One of their activities was to develop a ‘Lightning song’ and the players delivered a quality rendition of ‘We Like to Party’.
The song goes:
We are Lightning,
We are, we are the Lightning
We are Lightning,
We are, we are the Lightning
We are Lightning
We are, we are the Lightning
We are Lightning
We’ve got something to tell ya
We’ve got news for you
Sunny Coast is United in Yellow
The Energy is coming through
Hey now, hey now, hear what I say now
Lightning bolts are striking from the ceiling
Hey now, hey now, hear what I say now
A sea of yellow and blue
The Lightning bus is coming
And everybody’s pumping
our country’s Kabi Kabi’
We’re gonna get that dubby
The Lightning girls are striking
Uni SC is frightening
So if you’re in the stands
Get up and clap your hands
The players are very proud of this song, and we hope to hear you sing it loud and proud in the stands at every home game in 2023.
