Digital Content Producer (full time fixed term contract – end date 30 September 2018)

Make your mark in a newly created role at the Sunshine Coast Lightning 

The Sunshine Coast Lightning netball franchise is a joint venture between Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club and the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) and was crowned in its inaugural season as 2017 Suncorp Super Netball Champions. The club is based at USC’s Sippy Downs campus, on the Sunshine Coast in south-east Queensland.

Netball is the largest female participation sport in Australia and the Suncorp Super Netball Competition showcases the region to a national audience.

Sunshine Coast Lightning’s vision, mantra and values are at the core of the club and provide the platform for the strong high-performance culture.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of the Club’s video content to build brand awareness, digital engagement and increase the Club’s social media following.

Duties for the Digital Content Producer will be primarily focused on producing regular video content for the Club to share its stories and support digital growth. Other duties will include coordination of corporate  video content for events, photography and supporting the Communications & Digital Manager during day to day media calls.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in video production
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously on projects and/or within a team as required
  • Experience and knowledge in producing content through Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software
  • Tertiary Qualification, preferably in Communications or film/ TV
